In order to assist the citizens of Guthrie in the disposal of the branches, tree debris and yard waste resulting from the recent ice storms, the City of Guthrie would like to offer a free disposal at the Convenience Center, located at 1506 N. Academy Road, from Wednesday, January 8, through Saturday, January 18.
The Convenience Center is opened on Tuesday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. No construction debris or household garbage will be accepted with this free disposal, only branches and tree debris.
A current City of Guthrie water bill for identification will be required. Have questions? Please call the Guthrie Public Works department at (405) 282-8400 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
