Oklahoma County deputies believe the man who led them on a vehicle and foot pursuit earlier this morning is believed to be Josh Walton. Logan County deputies have been on the look out for Walton, who is a sex offender and is not living at his registered address.
On Thursday Logan County put word out they were looking for the 23-year-old Walton after he did not follow through to establish a transient registration. He now has arrest warrants through the Logan County District Court for Violation of the Sex and Violent Offender Registration Act, and Failure to Register as Sex Offender.
He’s also wanted on outstanding warrants in Oklahoma County, including one for
lewd or indecent acts with a child.

On Friday morning Oklahoma County sheriff’s deputies attempted to pull over what they believed to have been a stolen vehicle, but the driver, who is believed to have been Walton, and his passenger, 32-year-old Kenneth Dale Watson, took off leading the deputies on a high-speed pursuit.
Speeds were reported as high as 127 miles per hour.
Watson was taken into custody, but after an hour into the search, led by Oklahoma County investigators, it was called off for the driver, who is believed to be Walton.

Logan County deputies have had several leads throughout the day on Walton, but have been unable to locate him at this time.
