According to a recent report, there is a demand for a furniture and home furnishing store for Guthrie. Just last week, a furniture store announced they were coming to Guthrie.
Galleria Furniture formally announced they have purchased a building along S. Division St. and will soon be selling top brand furniture for living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms as well as carpet.
The company bought the building located at 1611 S. Division, located behind Walgreens, through an auction. They plan to make upgrades to the building, which will leave a showroom of approximately 22,000 square feet and another 10,000 square feet for inventory and pickup.
Galleria Furniture offers next day, statewide and multi-state delivery with their trucks. The store will be open seven days a week. If you don’t live anywhere near this store and if they unfortunately do not deliver to your location, you could also look into a company like furniture in fashion, to provide you with modern designs and high quality products for furniture, such as dining tables. Decorating any part of your home can be quite exciting, especially when you finally see how everything works together in that particular room. If you are looking for companies that can provide you with bespoke office furniture, you’re only going to want the best products available. It’s all about making a statement in your home. If you like it, then that’s all that matters.
Along with their location in Oklahoma City, which also serves as their distribution center, Galleria Furniture has locations in Chickasha and Lawton with plans to open a second OKC store.
According to a retail analysis report from the Oklahoma Department of Commerce, Guthrie has more than $5 million demand for furniture and home furnishing stores that has only $700 thousand, a gap of more than $4 million.
“Through our sales tax (numbers) its shows us that we have no furniture sales in our entire community of Guthrie,” Guthrie City Manager Bruce Johnson said. “So, them coming in and providing that product to the community is going to be beneficial for them, the community and for the City.
Store officials are hopeful they can be open by May 20, but are awaiting final paperwork to be completed after purchasing a portion of the shopping center through an auction.
