  1. 11 am on a Fridays ridiculous!! So pissed about that, If they can’t get a better time than that, they need to change venues. Have it in Norman on Saturday since they’re not using their field. That time is going to effect the gate attendence greatly!

  2. a state championship game when most people have to work. It’s unheard of.

  3. I agree with all three of you. I wish the game would have been at 7:30.

I spoke with the OSSAA and it basically came down to Lawton MacArthur and Clinton getting home late, and since Lawton Mac has the furthest to travel they chose the 5A game as the early game.

Of course, all of this came up when Bedlam was announced to be played on Saturday, December 2nd.

Do remember, Lawton Mac will have to travel up Thursday, or leave real early Friday morning with by being two (2 1/2) hours then Guthrie.

The 6A teams are playing on Thursday night with a short week too.

    • Norman would be a shorter trip for Mac. Bottom line is the OSSAA is not prepared for a non-Tulsa team being in the mix. If Tulsa team is missing, Stillwater makes ZERO sense

    • Until the Big 12 has a conference championship game again, there will always be a scheduling conflict potential using OSU or OU stadiums this weekend. They should try to get a deal with UCO and make Wantland the site every year. Right in the middle of the state seems to be a fair solution

    • Interesting excuse they’re using having to travel so far. I wonder if that means next years game will be on a Saturday when we have to go to the pan handle and play, I mean that is a long ways to have to drive on a Friday.

  4. OSSAA and OSU signed, I believe,a 5-year contract last year to host the state championship games (6A-4A).

  5. Maybe I’m missing something…. Why do I want to pay $1 more per ticket to buy them online before Friday? I know that we have great fans, but I just can’t see Boone Picken Stadium being sold out for a State Championship game at 11am on a Friday. The OSSAA website says that all tickets are general admission, so basically not assigning seats. Anyone???

  6. Concentrate on delivering exemplary service in order to win these again for another visit which
is wherever you impose your normal charges for the company.
