The Logan County Relay for Life’s SweetHeart SweetHeat cook-off has been canceled for Feb. 20.
The Logan County Relay for Life will be holding their SweetHeart SweetHeat cook-off. The chili and dessert dinner event gives everyone the opportunity to show off their secret chili recipe.
The event is set for Feb. 20 at 6 p.m. inside the First United Presbyterian Fellowship Hall. All proceeds benefit the Relay For Life of Logan County
“We will be having three judges this year who have graciously donated their time to our cause,” Cagney Moorman said. Judging the contest will be Chef Rob Ferris from Gage’s Steak House, Chamber CEO Heady Coleman and former Guthrie mayor Chuck Burtcher.
Moorman goes on to say they have made it free to submit an entry into the chili and dessert cook-off.
Tickets prices for eating at the event are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 10-and-under.
In addition to the cook-off, the charity group is adding a new event this year with the children’s cupcake decorating contest during the event. Children ages 8-12 can enter for $5.
