GFD contains blaze involving RV, vehicles, and equipment on S. Pine

Guthrie Fire Department responded swiftly to a grass fire on South Pine that escalated into a blaze involving an RV, several cars, and lawn mowers on Monday.

Upon arrival, firefighters found the fire actively threatening nearby structures, fueled by strong winds.

Thanks to their quick action and effective coordination, the crew was able to get a fast knockdown on the fire, preventing it from spreading further. No injuries were reported at the scene.

The Guthrie Fire Department extended its appreciation to neighboring agencies that assisted in the response, including Sooner Fire, Woodcrest Fire, and Oak Cliff Fire Departments.
