Freshmen year in high school can be a nervous time for some students with not only a new school, but a bigger student body with older students. Guthrie High School will help to try to avoid some of those issues.
Freshman Principal Chris LeGrande is inviting students to a Freshman Orientation on Monday, August 15th from 9:00 a.m. to noon in the high school cafeteria.
LeGrande urged parents to help their child with the enrollment process as well.
“To expedite the enrollment process and to be able to pick up schedules at the conclusion of orientation, you may have student obligations cleared, residency verified, and utility bills scanned upon arrival Monday morning,” LeGrande said.
