The Guthrie High School tennis teams traveled to New Braunfels, Texas over the weekend to improve their game with a popular camp with a former professional player.
Established in 1968, by tennis Legend, John Newcombe, the Tennis Ranch has evolved into one of the premier tennis destinations in the world. The Ranch offers year-round junior tennis camps, adult tennis vacations, a world class tennis academy and fantasy camps with tennis legends.
Aaron Hartley and Brandon LaMarche won the Winners Award while Brianna Berryman took runner-up honors. LaMarche also won the hot shot award and Jess Minter received the most improved award.
“I am so proud of the kids,” GHS tennis coach Mary Hudson said.
