The Guthrie High School wrestling program was recognized with seven grapplers on the Suburban Conference teams.
Caleb Nelson and Kurgan Cornwell were named to the first team. Nelson commanded the 120 pound weight class while Cornwell took on the 132 weight division.
Nelson, a sophomore, finished the season as a state qualifier with a record of 24-11.
Cornwell finished his junior season with a record of 32-13, including 1-1 in the state tournament.
Three Jays were named to the second team, including Colby Graves (152), Dane Jenkins (220) and JB Simpson (285).
Graves finished his senior campaign with a 30-12 record while qualifying for state.
Jenkins, a junior, won his first match at state and finished the season with a 24-10 record.
Dakota Walters (126) and Luis Kessner (138) were each named to the third team.
Each team was selected by coaches from Guthrie, Carl Albert, Noble, Shawnee, Western Heights, Piedmont and El Reno.
