Despite warm temperatures and humidity, the 41st Howard Fife went on at the Guthrie Golf and Country Club on Saturday and Sunday.
This year’s Fife had 16 teams with a total of 80 players and several more who took part in the gallery.

The oldest golf course in Oklahoma (built-in 1900) witness the team of Sam Smith, Tony Benear, Darrell Covington, Jason Seaton and James Sewell finish the tournament with a three under score to take first place.
Day one of the Fife is scored by taking the team’s low best ball while Sunday is scored by taking the team’s two low balls on the 9-hole regulation length golf course.
Each team was paired up with handicaps verified by the GGCC and then were labeled by an A, B, C, D, and E player. Prior to the start of the tourney, golfers and their families gathered Friday evening for music, dancing, and socializing on the Club’s front lawn.

Chris Seaton got robbed. If he could putt, their team would have won by 15 strokes.
I feel the same way, Chris Seaton is a beast on that course!
