Two men are behind bars after they were caught stealing from a residence. They were later found with other stolen items from Oklahoma City.
Last week officers responded to a report of a burglary in progress at a residence on S. Division St. Upon arrival, they discovered a male near a vehicle and found another male attempting to hide in the loft area of a barn.
“It was apparent the unoccupied residence was burglarized,” a spokesperson for GPD said.
Upon further investigation, officers also recovered items reported stolen out of Oklahoma City.
Zane Johnson, 42, and Shawn Park, 44, were both arrested and charged with burglary, concealing stolen property, and possession of implements of burglary.
Johnson was handed down a $20,000 bond, while Park received a $7,500 bond.
Both men were charged with burglary in the second degree and are expected back in court on June 22.
