GPD detective helps raise over $5,000 for deputy’s family

The Guthrie Police Department, spearheaded by Det. Erik Lamb, raised over $5,000 for the children of fallen Logan County deputy David Wade.

Lamb was able to sale nearly 3,000 tickets and collected several donated prizes from vendors and companies to help the cause. Items ranged from knives to tools to clothes to coffee to a rifle kit.

“It’s going to be used for whatever these kids need,” Lamb said.

The raffle drawing was streamed live on Guthrie News Page (video above).
