The Guthrie Police Department, spearheaded by Det. Erik Lamb, is giving citizens a chance to win over 30-plus packages. All proceeds will go to the fund the children of slain Logan County deputy David Wade.
“It’s going to be used for whatever these kids need,” Lamb said who has found sponsors and donations.
Lamb has collected items ranging from knives to tools to clothes to coffee to a rifle kit.
Funds are being raised by selling tickets for a drawing for donated goods such as custom knives, clothing, ink pens and coffee. Tickets are $2 each or $10 for six.
Tickets can be purchased at the Guthrie Police Department (306 W. Oklahoma) or on PayPal.
On PayPal, under “Send and Request,” select “Family and Friends in the US.” Enter Lamb’s email address, [email protected], enter the amount in $2 increments and write WADE221 in the notes section.
