Three women were recognized for their work in the Guthrie school district on Monday evening at the Board of Education meeting as they were announced as the latest employees of the month.
For the month of March, Heather McDonald, a paraprofessional at Guthrie Upper Elementary School (GUES), was nominated and presented by Misty Hishsmith, who also serves as a paraprofessional at GUES, as the Support Employee of the Month.
For the month of April, Junior High reading teacher Mandy Rife presented Lynette Anderson for the Support Employee of the Month. Anderson serves as a paraprofessional at the Junior High.
District Psychologist Angie Smedley presented Marylyn Steffensen as the Certified Employee of the Month. Steffensen serves the role as District Psychometrist.
Each receipent was awarded with a plaque and $25 Sonic gift card from the Guthrie Lions Club.
