Logan County crews fought hot temperatures when they were called out to a grass fire off of Highway 105 on Sunday afternoon.
Just before 2:30 p.m. firefighters from Guthrie, Meridian, Woodcrest, Sooner and Coyle were called to Anderson Road to the north of the highway.
Dark smoke could be seen billowing into the sky miles away with temperatures reaching as high as 102 degrees.
The departments worked quickly to extinguish the fire and needed about 90 minutes to do so and were able to save all structures in the area.
It is believed a hay baler is what sparked the fire.
