Great Bed Run returns to the streets of Guthrie

There were some good times and there were … well some creative beds running down Oklahoma Ave. on Thursday night with the return of The Great Bed Run.

Businesses and community members came together to build beds and race them as part of the ’89er Days celebration.

With several creative themes represented by each bed, the rules state there must be four pushers and one rider.

Coming away with the fastest time, although some are calling for a review (not really), was the team of Custom Dental.

Walking away with the second fastest time was Daddy’s Dent and Ding and the Guthrie Spirit Award was given to NorthChurch Guthrie.

Below are some of the moments of the race and participating teams. Provided by Jeff Chappell.
