The toughest district in 5A boys’ basketball handed out their All-District team awards and six players from Guthrie received recognition.
Seniors Braydon Morgan and Tyrone Beatty were named to the first team, senior Nathan Benford to the second team, and senior Alex Clark to the third team.
Benford and Beatty were also named to the All-Defensive Team.
Senior Jaylon Harper and freshman Kolson Smedley earned Honorable Mention
The Jays, who were led by first-year head coach Nathan Pennypacker, finished the season with an impressive 22-5 record, including 12-2 in district action.
Guthrie hosted and won a regional championship for the first time since 2010.
