Guthrie cruises past Southmoore, 8-1

Southmoore didn’t stand a chance on Friday, as Bluejays captured a blowout 8-1 win in seven innings at Yukon.

Reed Roberts racked up four RBIs on one hit for Bluejays. He homered in the sixth inning.

Jacob Chappell put together a nice outing. Jacob held Southmoore hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Rowdy Reihs got the win for Bluejays. He allowed one run over five innings. Rowdy struck out two, walked two and gave up five hits.

Levi Jaronek couldn’t get it done on the hill for Southmoore, taking a loss. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked two, struck out one, and allowed no runs.

Bluejays never trailed after scoring two runs in the second on an error.

Bluejays piled on two more runs in the top of the seventh. Jacob singled, scoring Camden Wilcott to start the inning.
