Guthrie firefighters help restore flag above St. Mary’s Catholic School

With the assistance of the new ladder truck, Guthrie firefighters helped restore Old Glory at St. Mary’s Catholic School.

On Monday, firefighters Sean Reihs and Sam Kohler repaired the flag pole next to the school’s entrance.

The rope had broken over a month ago on the pole, and the school was unable to proudly fly the flag throughout the day.

With the help of a parent, who purchased the rebuild kit, and the Guthrie Fire Department, who donated their time and use of the engine, the flag is once again flying above the school.
