Guthrie Golf and Country Club is proud to be partnering with United Way of Logan County for the 1st Annual Winter Open. Proceeds from this golf tournament will help raise funds for United Way of Logan County’s 10 partner agencies to help continue to improve the quality of life in the community.
The Guthrie Golf and Country Club Winter Open will be held on Friday, December 4. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. and the tournament will have a shotgun start at 9:30. The tournament will be played as a four person scramble, lunch will be served by “I Don’t Know, I Don’t Care” food truck, and after lunch the second half of the scramble will be played.
United Way of Logan County is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1986 by local volunteers seeking a unified solution to critical needs in the community. Now serving thousands of county residents annually, United Way funds results-oriented programs at 10 outstanding local Partner Agencies. United Way offers donors the greatest impact for their charitable investment.
You’re invited to help contribute to improving the quality of life for so many by sponsoring a hole on the course for $100. Hole sponsors will receive their name and logo on any Guthrie Golf and Country Club Tournament marketing and PR materials (newspapers, social media, invitations, etc), recognition at the tournament, and signs with company name and logo at the hole. We plan to have 40 golfers in attendance. Hole sponsorships are a tax deductible donation.
