Guthrie Jonquil Club gives back during the holiday season

This holiday season, the Guthrie Jonquil Club demonstrated its commitment to giving back to the community with two generous donations.

The first donation, a check for $300, was presented to the Guthrie High School and Junior High nutrition program to help pay down lunch debts. Jonquil Club President Jennifer Husmann (pictured below) handed the check to Latoya Jones, the Child Nutrition Director for the schools, ensuring that students have access to nutritious meals without the worry of debt.

In addition to supporting local schools, the Jonquil Club raised over $300 to support God’s Food Bank during the Christmas season. Member Paula Burnett (pictured above) presented the funds to the staff at God’s Food Bank, helping provide for those in need during the holiday season.

These donations highlight the spirit of giving and the Jonquil Club’s ongoing efforts to support the Guthrie community.
