Guthrie Lady Jays compete at home golf invitational

The Guthrie Lady Jays Invitational took place Thursday at Aqua Canyon. The golf team put together a solid performance against tough competition.

Carl Albert claimed the team title with a score of 355, followed by Bethany (372), Bishop McGuinness (376), and Guthrie (382) in fourth place.

Junior Tatum Brown led the way for the Lady Jays, finishing fifth overall with a round of 85 (+14). Senior Audrey Allen also earned a top-10 finish, placing 10th with a score of 94.

Other Guthrie scores included junior Maely Beeby (100, 22nd place), freshman Mallory Lemon (104, 33rd place), and junior Taegan Reyes (103, 30th place).

Additional Lady Jays competing were sophomore Piper Hallowell (107), junior Kate Jaena (121), sophomore Macie Girard (121), and Nova Hawkins (124).

The Lady Jays will return to action on April 2 at Crimson Creek in El Reno.
