“We are thankful for their continuous efforts to help others.”
Lions District Governor, Troy Jenkins, presented longevity chevrons to each honoree and congratulated the entire club.
“You all make a difference. Your contributions to the community in terms of the thousands of dollars of donations and the hundreds of hours of service is special. These men provide a model for all of us to emulate. Congratulations to all.”
The Guthrie Noon Lions Club meets every Friday at noon at Stacy’s Place, 113 W. Harrison. Each week, in addition to a wonderful meal and meaningful fellowship, a special guest presentation is made, generally focusing on a program, process or activity that directly affects our community and our lives. Membership is open to all who want to make a difference, to all who want “to serve”.
