A 28-year-old Guthrie man was killed Saturday evening in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 40 in Oklahoma County, according to the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety.
The collision occurred at approximately 7:40 p.m. on March 28 in the eastbound lanes of I-40, just west of the Kickapoo Turnpike.
Authorities say Nolan Anderson was traveling eastbound when his vehicle departed the roadway to the right for an unknown reason, striking a bridge support before coming to rest.
Anderson was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
