The Guthrie Noon Lions Club continued its tradition of honoring Guthrie High School seniors who excel in their academic achievement and display great leadership skills inside and outside the classroom. Rachael Ammons and Cheyenne Royal were selected this month for their accomplishments.

She is an active member of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America and Student Council. In her “free time” she is involved with Choir, Key Club and is a trainer for the wrestling team. Rachael was the Wrestling Homecoming Queen this year. She plans on attending Oklahoma State University with a focus on entering the medical field and becoming a physician assistant.
Cheyenne Royal is the daughter of Julie and Johnny Royal. She is a salutatorian for her class and also a member of the elite National Honor Society. Cheyenne is on the Guthrie High School tennis team and actively engaged in Key Club, Future Farmers of America, and Family, Career and Community Leaders of America.
