Guthrie Police officer helps lead to arrest of OKC man

A Lieutenant with the Guthrie Police Department helped nab an Oklahoma City man who is alleged of sharing child pornography over the internet.

Stephen H. JacksonStephen H. Jackson, 46, was taken into custody on Dec. 18 after he is believed to have distributed three files of child pornography from his home to Lt. Mark Bruning, who was conducting the undercover investigation.

Bruning and other members of the Oklahoma Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit served a search warrant at Jackson’s residence. Several computer-related items were seized from the residence.

On-scene previews of the computer-related items revealed pornographic images of at least two local children. The investigation will continue to determine if any additional children are in the images.

Jackson was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail and is being held on the following charges: two counts of Possession of Child Pornography, one count of distribution of child Ppornography, three counts of aggravated possession of child pornography, one count of production of child pornography, 10 counts of forcible sodomy, one count of lewd acts to a child under 16, and violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.
