The Guthrie High School powerlifting team recently competed in the Class 5A Northwest Regional and came away winning the top spot.
Multiple Jays came away with top honors.
Qadri Muhammad finished fourth in the 132-pound weight class, Trey Braxton took fifth in the 198-pound division, Ethan Gilbert also finished 5th in the 275-weight class, and Cooper Walters finished fourth overall in the 275-weight class.
To qualify for state competition, a lifter must finish in the top five of their weight class at regionals or earn an at-large bid.
