Guthrie Public Library to host 3rd Annual Crowns Tea

The Guthrie Public Library will host their 3rd Annual Crowns Tea. The event beautifully captures the self-expressions of women of all ages, from young glamorous ladies to serene and stylish grandmothers and is based on the book “Crowns: Portraits of Black Women in Church Hats” by Michael Cunningham and Craig Marberry.

The event is set for Saturday, February 17 at 1 p.m.

Attendees will partake of drinks, hors d’oeuvres and entertainment. All attendees must wear a hat (church hat is preferred) and registration is required.

Space is limited and tickets are available at the Guthrie Public Library.

For more information, please contact the Guthrie Public Library Circulation Desk or call 405-282-0050.
