Guthrie Public Schools to host “Topping Out” ceremony at Cotteral Elementary

Guthrie Public Schools is excited to announce a special “topping out” ceremony for the new building at Cotteral Elementary School. The event will take place this Thursday morning, June 27th, at 9:00 a.m., and all former and current Cotteral Elementary students are invited to attend.

  • Parking: Attendees are asked to park along the south side of the existing building.

Ceremony Highlights

During the ceremony, guests will have the unique opportunity to sign the final beam that will be placed at the highest point of the construction site. This tradition, known as “topping out,” marks a significant milestone in the building’s construction and allows the community to leave a lasting mark on the new facility.

Construction Progress

The construction of the new Cotteral Elementary building is moving forward at a rapid pace. The project is expected to be completed by next spring, bringing enhanced facilities and learning environments for the students of Guthrie Public Schools.
