Well did you feel the latest episode of earthquakes? Guthrie was struck with three earth tremors according to the United States Geological Survey early Thursday morning. However, some say they felt a fourth and fifth quake.
Several took to social media when the first tremor shook at 12:26 a.m. and then the second just 13 minutes later. Both quakes registered a magnitude of 3.8 with the epicenter near the intersection of Seward and Broadway
The third quake followed at 1:13 a.m. with a punch of 3.4 near Forrest Hills Rd. and Santa Fe.
A recent report shows Oklahoma is now the earthquake capitol when it comes to the lower 48 states. According to KOCO, as of today, California has recorded 88 magnitude 3.0 or greater quakes, but Oklahoma has nearly doubled that number at 174.
Alaska remains the state to date with 477 3.0 or greater quakes.
