Two Guthrie High School standouts will continue their journey side-by-side after high school, as Isaiah Blevins and Kallon Cyphers officially signed their letters of intent on March 10.
The teammates are headed to Easton Central University, a strong Division II program in Ada known for consistently finishing among the top teams at the national cross country championships.
Coached by Bryce Balenseifen, both runners have played a key role in the program’s success over the past four years, helping build a strong foundation and competitive team.
“These two guys have been a significant part of our team’s success over the past four years, and we will miss them greatly,” Balenseifen said. “Nonetheless, we are excited to see them compete at the next level.”
While it is always a notable achievement for student-athletes to earn the opportunity to compete at the collegiate level, this moment carries added significance as Blevins and Cyphers will continue competing together.
