Guthrie High School softball head coach Booker Blakley and the Lady Jays program will host a one-day camp for students who attend first grade through the fifth grade.
The camp is set for May 21 at the high school softball field, which is north of Guthrie Upper Elementary School.
The camp is free for all campers.
The camp will be conducted by the high school and junior high coaching staffs, current players and former GHS players who have moved on to college softball.
The focus will be on the fundamentals of fast pitch softball, including fielding, throwing, hitting and base running. In addition, pitching and catching will be on a as needed basis.
Blakley encourages all campers to bring athletic clothing, cleats (if possible), glove, bat, helmet and catchers gear (for those applicable).
