The City of Guthrie will soon be taking bids for the Municipal Services equipment sheds and fencing next week while making strides at the soccer complex along with the Animal Shelter.

“We are crossing our fingers for good pricing. While progress has been slow on the overall recovery, there has been constant action,” City Manager Matt Mueller said.

Mueller went on to say they are making progress on the soccer complex on Academy Road and hopes to have everything in place for the fall soccer leagues.

The Animal Shelter’s roof has been replaced and the kennel fencing is currently being repaired. Mueller concluded by saying the Municipal Services garage and the Animal Shelter offices will take more time.
