Guthrie Tennis hosts F&M Bank Tennis Tournament

Girls #1 Singles Madison Mize placed 7th

She played Oklahoma Christian in the first round and lost 6­0, 6­0.  In the second round she lost to Ada 6­3, 6­1.  For the 7th place match she defeated Piedmont 6­2, 6­0.

Girls #2 Singles Trista LeGrande placed 6th

She played Carl Albert in the first round and lost 6­3, 6­2.  In the second round, she defeated Ardmore 6­0, 6­1.  For 5th place she lost to Byng 6­3, 6­0.

Girls #1 Doubles Makaya Coker and Kamber Smedley placed 4th

In the first round they defeated they defeated Byng in 3 sets. 6­4, 1­6, 10­1

In the second round they lost to Duncan 6­1, 6­0.  In the last round they lost to Crossings in 3 sets 6­4, 4­6, 10­8.

Girls #2 Doubles Brianna Berryman and Ryan Robbins placed 2nd

In the first round they defeated Carl Albert in three sets, 6­4, 6­7, 10­4.  In the second round they defeated Crossing 6­3, 6­4.  In the finals they lost to Duncan in three sets 6­3, 6­7, 8­10.

Boys #1 Singles Aaron Hartley had flip for consolation and lost to OBA.  In his first round he lost to Ada 6­0, 6­1.  In his next round he defeated Deer Creek 7­5, 6­3.  Due to time we were not able to start his last round and did not get to play it.

Boys #2 Singles Caden Hopfer placed 5th

In his first round he defeated Deer Creek 6­3, 6­1.  In his next round he lost to Tulsa Edison 6­1, 6­3.  In his third round he defeated Heritage Hall in three sets, 6­3, 4­6, 10­4.  In his match for 5th he defeated Byng 6­1, 2­6, 10­5.

Boys #1 Doubles Zack Denley and Kevin Blackston

They lost to Stillwater in their first round in three sets, 4­6, 6­2, 1­10.  In the second round they defeated El Reno in three sets 6­7, 6­3, 10­8  In their last round they lost to Ardmore 6­3, 6­1.

Boys #2 Doubles Lane Hlad and Joe Kuruvilla placed 8th

In the first round they defeated Duncan 1­6, 6­3, 10­5  They lost the next round to Deer Creek 6­2, 6­1.  they lost to Stillwater 6­2, 6­1.  and in the match for 7th they lost to Ada 6­4, 6­2.
