Guthrie Tennis shines at Duncan Tournament

The Guthrie girls’ tennis team put together a strong performance at the Duncan Tournament, highlighted by multiple top-six finishes and a thrilling finals match.

In 1 Doubles, Rylee Tobin and Aspen Mitchell battled their way to the championship match, where they took Ada to a decisive third-set tiebreaker before finishing as runners-up in a hard-fought contest.

In 2 Doubles, Haven Hudson and Hollie Mitchell placed fifth, with their only loss coming against Duncan in a tough three-set match.

The Bluejays also had solid individual performances, with Kenzie Hardesty finishing sixth in 2 Singles and Lola Brown securing sixth place in 1 Singles.

The team’s performance in Duncan showcased their grit and determination, setting the stage for a strong push as the season progresses.
