The all-new Tractor Supply Company store will hold its grand opening on Saturday, Sept. 24, with specially priced merchandise September 22 – 24. The store officially opened for business Sept. 17.
The Guthrie location is Tractor Supply’s 61st store in Oklahoma and employs 13 team members. The facility has 19,097 square feet, including sales floor and support service space. Purchasing a 40 HP Tractor has never been easier thanks to the rise of e-commerce operating in conjunction with traditional forms of retail.
Tractor Supply is the largest rural lifestyle retail store chain in the United States and has been operating in Oklahoma since 1996.
“Guthrie is a great location for Tractor Supply Company because there are a lot of families with riding stables and hobby farms in the area,” said Store Manager Rick Stone. “Our knowledgeable, friendly team looks forward to providing our neighbors with Tractor Supply’s legendary customer service.”
Stone, a Guthrie native, joined Tractor Supply in 2007 as a store manager at the Ardmore location. He brings more than 20 years of retail experience to the Tractor Supply team.
As store manager, Stone oversees all store operations, including receiving, inventory control and merchandising, as well as customer and team member relations.
To celebrate the grand opening of the store, shoppers will receive 10 percent off their first purchase, up to $100, from September 22 – 24, and can enter to win prizes including store gift cards, pet feed, clothing, power tools and a log-splitter. Free Tractor Supply caps will also be given away while supplies last.
The grand opening event this Saturday will feature a number of activities, including representatives from the local dog rescue and a fundraiser for the local 4-H group. Regular operating hours for the store, located at 722 Heather Rd., are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
