The Y was the first organization to offer courses in English as a second language and where basketball and volleyball were invented during World War I. Y volunteers raised $155 million in welfare efforts for American soldiers, where our teen programs empower students to be the first in their family to attend college and, most recently, where caring Y employees and volunteers work every day to mentor and encourage children to live the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
Give today, or whenever you can, to help us continue to respond to the needs of our community!
Donate vital financial resources for nurturing the potential of kids, improving the nation’s health and well-being and giving back and supporting our neighbors.
Invest in your community. When you give to the Y, you make a meaningful difference in your community and around the world. You are funding life-changing programs that help thousands of children, adults and families right here in the community of Guthrie.
For more information about giving, contact Whitney Chandler, Center Director at the Guthrie Y, at 405-282-8206.
