The Guthrie football program won their sixth consecutive game with a win over the Western Heights Jets. The 69-0 win secured the 5A-1 district championship.
Here are how the Jays opponents did in Week 9 of the high school season:
Duncan 7, Ardmore 21
Ardmore quarterback Trey Cohee had 140 yards passing and a hand in all three Ardmore touchdowns as the Tigers claim the second spot in 5A-2 and will host a first round game while Duncan will hit the road.
Ponca City 14, Bixby 41
The Bixby Spartans dominated the Ponca City Wildcats in the first half, building a 34-7 halftime lead before cruising to a 41-14 bench-clearing win.
Enid 14, Tulsa Union 51
Enid has not beaten Union since 1991 and the Redskins made sure the trend continued. Union now has won 91-straight games against district opponents.
Deer Creek 7, Carl Albert 31
It was the first ever meeting between the two schools and it was the Titans in a run away. Carl Albert secured a home play-off game. The Titans held a 24-0 lead at the half.
Ada 55, Noble 6
Noble dropped their seventh game in a row while Ada continued to hold out on hopes of finishing third in the district.
El Reno 48, Southeast 20
