An injury collision sent five people to the hospital, including two from Guthrie, on Saturday. A two-year-old and nine month old were also involved with the wreck.
Medical teams responded to the intersection of State Highway 105 and US-177, three miles west of Tryon, OK, in Lincoln County at 9:48 a.m.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a 2005 silver GMC Envoy driven by Sharon Dollarhide, 72 , of Guthrie was traveling eastbound on Highway 105 when she failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection where the two interstates intersect.
She was struck by a 1995 white Chevrolet Suburban driven by Amber Lightfoot, 31, of Carney, OK.
The Envoy departed the roadway to the right and struck a building, coming to a stop.
Airbags in both vehicles deployed.
Dollarhide was transported to an Edmond hospital and was treated and release. Her passenger, Cathy Hudson, 58, of Guthrie was transferred to OU Medical Center and admitted with head, trunk and internal injuries.
Lightfoot was also transported to an Edmond hospital and was treated and released.
A two-year-old female and a nine month old female, both from Carney, was taken to the hospital by a personal vehicle. Both were treated and released.
OHP reports the cause of collision was failure to yield to a stop sign.
Seatbelts were used by all victims and the juveniles were appropriately restrained in car seats, according to the report.
