The students took a trolley ride to the station where their personal tour guide Officer Jason Hamilton awaited.

Officer Hamilton greeted his guests and took them on a complete tour of the facility, including the area where people are photographed and fingerprinted. The children and residents, although some were hesitant, got a view and got to walk into a jail cell.

The children were especially intrigued when Officer Hamilton showed them the issued wardrobe that prisoners receive when booked.

The tour went outdoors where a patrol car and motorcycle were on display and everyone got to see and touch.

Afterwards, Detective Jeremy Thorne handed out folders with goodies for the children to take back to school.
