Guthrie Public Schools named their Support and Certified Employee of the Month for January at the regular scheduled school board meeting.
Emily Turner the Instructional Coach at Guthrie Upper Elementary School (GUES) nominated and presented Jana Frey for the Support Employee of the Month.
Frey, who is currently the financial secretary at GUES, was also approved by the Board of Education to replace Kay Gammill, who will be retiring, as the administrative assistant to Supt. Dr. Mike Simpson beginning in March.
Third grade teacher Trisha Hunter nominated and presented fellow Fogarty Elementary teacher Amanda Perring as the Certified Employee of the Month.
