Jays win streak halted by Yukon

Tyler Benge got it done on the bump on the way to a win. He allowed two runs over seven innings. Tyler struck out three, walked two and gave up five hits.

Blaze Hastings was the game’s losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out five, and allowed four runs.

The Jays seven game win streak is now over.

Yukon piled on two more runs in the bottom of the third. The inning looked promising, as Caleb Davis singled, plating Will Pickens to kick things off.

Two runs in the top of the fifth helped Bluejays close its deficit to 3-2. An RBI single by Blaze and a steal of home by Reed Roberts sparked Bluejays’ rally. Finally, Tyler got Camden Wilcott to ground out to end the threat.
