Jeep runs into dowtown building

A jeep jumped the curb and into a downtown building on Thursday morning.

A medical episode may have forced an elderly man to drive his jeep over a curb, over a handicap sign and into the north side of the American Legion building near the intersection of 1st Street and Cleveland Ave.

The impact caused damage to a window and a few bricks on the building. The jeep suffered front end damage.

Guthrie EMS responded and treated the driver at the scene just after 9:30 a.m. He was transported from the scene by a personal vehicle for further medical care.
