Joe Chappell was recognized for his efforts to keep Guthrie beautiful during a reception banquet at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum on Monday evening.

Chappell, who also serves on the Planning Commission for the City of Guthrie, was one of five awarded as the Affiliate Champion.
In a social media post, Chappell gave thanks to Sue DuCharme with Neighborhood Solutions for her work in the community and the nomination.
