Junior High football teams split games in Chickasha

The junior high football teams traveled to Chickasha last Thursday and split their two games.

The seventh grade team cruised to a 30-8 win while the eighth grade Jays fell short 16-0.

Jays seventh grade quarterback Kaiden Stevenson put on a show by scoring three touchdowns in the first half and another in the second half to help fuel their second win of the season.

Both the eighth grade offenses struggled as they went into halftime tied at 0-0.

Quarterback Cale Coffman was forced to the sideline with an injury and did not play in the second half.

The Chickasha defense scooped and scored on a Jays fumble option play. Later, added a touchdown for the shut-out win over the Jays.
