Junior High softball wins second tournament this season

The Guthrie Junior High softball team captured four wins and the Piedmont Tournament championship trophy over the weekend.

The Lady Jays scored 44 runs in four games while allowing only 10 runs total.

With wins over Newscastle (10-0), Oklahoma City Broncos (11-1), Bridge Creek (13-7) and Piedmont (10-2) the team captured the sixth edition of the Windmill Classic.

Earlier this season, the team won the Enid tournament.
