Ladd resigns from county boards

Dan Ladd announced his resignation from three county boards on Monday and revealed he will be moving out of state.

“I want to thank you for a chance to serve on some of the boards, but unfortunately I am going to need to resign,” Ladd told all three county commissioners during public comments at the Board of County Commissioner’s meeting.

“Thank you for the honor of serving and hopefully I did you guys well,” Ladd added.

Ladd, who ran for the Oklahoma State Senate in 2014, cited he was moving to the west coast to be with family.

Ladd served on the Excise Board, Board of Equalization and the Jail Trust Authority.

Each commissioner thanked Ladd for his service.
