The Guthrie Lady Jays advanced to the regional championship game on Saturday following a 52-41 win over Noble.
Guthrie, playing in the Regional 4 Tournament in Piedmont, jumped out to a 5-0 lead and never once trailed in a game that only took 76 minutes to play.
For the third time this season, Guthrie had no problem with Noble who ends their season at 8-14.
The Jays jumped out to an 18-11 first-quarter lead by forcing multiple Noble turnovers with constant pressure.
Guthrie got out to their biggest lead of the night, 35-17, in the second quarter to go into the locker room up 35-22.
Noble outscored Guthrie in the third but could not pull any closer than eight points.
Guthrie will next play Saturday at 2 p.m. against Piedmont on their home floor for the regional title.
Piedmont (18-6) needed overtime on Feb. 6 to take down Guthrie before run-ruling the Jays on Feb. 17, 67-43.
Regardless of Saturday’s outcome, Guthrie will play in next week’s Area Tournament.
