The three members of the Guthrie Lady Jays golf team scored well enough to advance to next week’s state tournament in Duncan.

The trio took on the Crimson Creek golf course in El Reno for the Class 5A regional.
Ball led the way for the team with a score of 103. Alexis Sutton finished the round with 105 while Hirzel was just a shot behind at 106.
The state tournament will be held May 7 and 8 at Duncan’s Golf and Tennis Club.
Sutton and Ball will go off first at 9 a.m. with Sutton on the No. 1 tee box and Ball on the No. 10 box. Hirzel will tee off 10 minutes later on hole one.
