The Guthrie Lady Jays softball team is two months away from beginning of the season and in the meantime are concentrating on practice and fundraising.
The softball program is hosting the Guthrie Lady Jays Softball 1st annual Four Person Scramble. The event is set for 10 a.m. on June 24th at Cimarron National Golf Course. All proceeds will go toward the High School and Junior High softball booster club.
The scramble will have prizes to give out including for both the closest to the hole and longest drive. The entry fee is $200 per team.
Lady Jays newly hired coach, Lee Linsenmeyer, said they are looking for hole sponsorships and have four different levels with the Gold, Silver, Bronze and Friends of the Program to choose from.
